About the Project
This was such a fun project! We loved these clients that came to us wanting a better design of their kitchen with a budget in mind.
THE KITCHEN
We took a Galley kitchen with a long skinny island and wall separating the family room and kitchen and completely opened up the space We added a large island which is now the focal point for entertaining and moved the cooktop into the island so our client who loves to cook can watch her guests and feel a part of the celebration. The sink was placed against the back wall so dishes would stay out of the way while adding a decorative Italian inlaid mosaic pattern as the backsplash combined with a matte cream subway tile to make a statement.
The kitchen is now the place to entertain and flows beautifully into the adjoining family room with a open concept feel they were missing before.

THE BAR
Our clients wanted a Bar to showcase their extensive Tequila Collection that would be a part of the kitchen yet out of the way. SO.... we carved out a nitche in a decorative wall adjacent to the kitchen and built them a Grand Bar with Glass cabinets as uppers with under cabinet lighting and a row of lower cabinets with drawers and a wine fridge. The wall separating the dining room and the kitchen was just a wall with a picture hanging on it and now it's a fabulous place to entertain and serve Tequila and Spirits!
THE PANTRY
The pantry before was just a pantry with u shaped shelves, so we got creative and made our clients a Coffee Bar in their pantry and moved their microwave in there to make room for more storage in the kitchen.
